I met Rick 5 years ago on a short visit to Provincetown. Two days later I purchased one half of a duplex. As any good realtor would do, he talked me into purchasing the other half of the duplex. He has represented me now in 5 transactions in Provincetown and I have been thrilled with the way he has handled everyone. He is thorough, organized and very good at what he does! I believe Rick really enjoys being a realtor and it shows. He is always looking out for his client�s best interests. To be honest I don�t like realtors (except for Rick). Rick Tourgee is the single reason that I own real estate in Provincetown. I was concerned about buying here, knowing that I'm years away from being able to live here for a significant portion of the year, and that I'd have to rely on people in town to help look after the place. In the purchasing phase, Rick heard every question I asked, and answered promptly, thoroughly - and with alacrity. He shepherded me through the process, gently addressing each potential obstacle with a reassuring hand. In short order, he managed to transform a state of alarm about some aspect of the pending transaction, into a state of unbridled optimism - without me having to lose groundedness. We met Rick nearly 3 years ago,

We met Rick nearly 3 years ago, and while we didn't realize it at that moment, my partner and I were starting another part of our wonderful journey. Having already fallen for each other, my partner and I were also falling for Provincetown. We made a decision to own a part of what we see as a place where we could truly and fully belong. What was missing was to find someone we could trust to help us make the neccessary leap into buying our first "together" property. Buying or selling property is an emotional roller-coaster ride anyway, but when it's a distance away you really need someone who will be there for you. In every way, Rick Tourgee was there for me. He made the calls, offered suggestions and kept checking in with me to make sure I was ok with the progress. But more than that, he made me feel like I could trust him. With Rick, you know that one way or another everything will work out for the best. He's good at reading people, knowing how to relate and what to do to make your real-estate experience a good one.

Looking for my first condo!

I had been looking for an investment property for about two years down the cape. I used various real estate agents, and looked at several properties every weekend. One day I went into Rick's office and was introduced to Rick Tourgee. I have to admit, when I saw his big smile I liked him immediately, and when he mentioned that he represented the "BUYER", that put a "BIG" smile on my face!!.....I told Rick I wasn't looking for anything fancy, and I wanted to purchase a house/condo to rent out to vacationers. Well, he totally knew what I wanted and showed me a great place in North Truro. The look and the price was just right!!! Rick is truly a person who dosn't take anything for granted and he truly enjoys finding that special place for his clients. Thanks Rick!!!!!
